AiRcupid Paper Accepted into UNAI Workshop and ISMAR-Adjunct 2023: Supporting Cucumber Picking for Intellectual Disabilities with AI and AR

We are excited to share that our research paper titled “AiRcupid: Supporting Cucumber Picking for Intellectual Disabilities using Artificial Intelligence and Augmented Reality” has been accepted into the esteemed 3rd Workshop on University Augmented Interaction (UNAI) and the highly regarded 2023 IEEE International Symposium on Mixed and Augmented Reality Adjunct (ISMAR-Adjunct).

Authored by Daisuke Inoue, Kaishi Naito, Prawit Buayai, and Xiaoyang Mao, our research introduces an innovative solution that combines the power of artificial intelligence (AI) and augmented reality (AR) to support individuals with intellectual disabilities in cucumber picking.

Accepted on August 10, 2023, this achievement showcases our commitment to developing inclusive technologies. Through AiRcupid, our groundbreaking system, we aim to enhance the capabilities and independence of individuals with intellectual disabilities in the challenging task of cucumber harvesting.

We are also delighted to share that our paper is set to be published in the prestigious IEEE Digital Library, ensuring that our insights and findings will be accessible to researchers and enthusiasts worldwide. This recognition motivates us to continue exploring the potential of AI and AR in improving accessibility and promoting inclusivity.

Stay tuned for further updates on this exciting project as we delve deeper into the transformative possibilities of AI and AR in supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities. We extend our gratitude to all who have supported us throughout this journey.
